President Dr Arif Alvi presented the highest civil award of the country, Nishan-e-Pakistan, to Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani for his noteworthy services and sacrifices for the oppressed people of Indian occupied Kashmir. (14th August 2020)
The award was received by the Hurriyat (Azad Jammu Kashmir) AJK leaders on behalf of Syed Ali Geelani.
President Arif Alvi on 23rd June 2019 conferred Pakistan’s highest civil award — Nishan-e-Pakistan — on Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani during a ceremony held at the President House in Islamabad.he became 26th Foreign recipients of Nishan-e-Pakistan
Vice President of China Wang Qishan was conferred with the Nishan-e-Pakistan on 26 May 2019 by President Dr Arif Alvi. he became 25th Foreign recipients of Nishan-e-Pakistan,
President Arif Alvi on 22 March 2019 conferred Pakistan’s highest civil award Nishan-e-Pakistan to Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. he became 24th Foreign recipients of Nishan-e-Pakistan
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was the 23th Foreign recipients of Nishan-e-Pakistan.
