Types of corn include sweet corn, popcorn, pod corn, flint corn, flour corn, waxy corn and dent corn.
Corn is one of the most important crops in the United States. Over the last years, the country’s corn farmers experienced constant increases in annual revenues. In 2016/17, the U.S. was responsible for more than one-third of the global corn production.
