Princess of Hope is a natural rock formation that manifests a princess looking beyond horizons (maybe for hope). The sea breeze coming from the Arabian Sea has worked for many years an expert craftsman to carve this beautiful sculpture. Princess of Hope stands high in the mountain range along with Makran Coastal Highway. The formation of Princess of Hope is so perfect that it appears to be a masterpiece of a skilled artisan who has made no mistake in transforming this rock into a princess. The name Princess of Hope was given by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie on her visit to this area.

The inaugural session of the first constituent assembly of Pakistan was held in Karachi in August 1947. Mr. J.N. Mandal was elected as temporary chairman of Constituent Assembly of Pakistan. The first Speaker/President of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah was elected unanimously by the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on 11 August 1947. He served from 11 August until his death on 11 September 1948.

Historically, the relationship between Pakistan and Iran has been exemplary. Iran was the first country to recognise Pakistan as a sovereign nation after it gained independence in August 1947. The Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan’s founder, was the progenitor of close relations with Iran and had appointed one of his trusted lieutenants, Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan, as Pakistan’s first ambassador to Iran. In May 1949, Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan paid his first state visit to Iran while the Shah of Iran became the first foreign head of state to visit Pakistan in March 1950.

Satpara Lake is a natural lake near Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, which supplies water to Skardu Valley. It is fed by the Satpara Stream. Satpara Lake is situated at an elevation of 2,636 meters above sea level and is spread over an area of 2.5 km².
