The initiative was incorporated into the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China in 2017. The Chinese government calls the initiative “a bid to enhance regional connectivity and embrace a brighter future.” The project has a target completion date of 2049.

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) can be seen as the international standard-setter in the fight against terrorist financing and money laundering. It was established in 1989, by a Group of Seven (G-7) Summit held in Paris.
The International Court of Justice is composed of 15 judges elected to nine-year terms of office by the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council. These organs vote simultaneously but separately. In order to be elected, a candidate must receive an absolute majority of the votes in both bodies.
There were 51 Founding Members in 1945. In accordance with Article 110, the Charter entered into force on 24 October 1945, after ratification by the five permanent members of the Security Council and a majority of the other countries.
The Charter was signed on 26 June 1945 by the representatives of the 50 countries. Poland, which was not represented at the Conference, signed it later and became one of the original 51 Member States.
The United Nations officially came into existence on 24 October 1945, when the Charter had been ratified by China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and by a majority of other signatories. United Nations Day is celebrated on 24 October each year

It was set up on 10 November 1999 in Lausanne, Switzerland, as a result of what was called the “Declaration of Lausanne”, to promote, coordinate and monitor the fight against drugs in sports. Since 2002, the organization’s headquarters have been located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
