Mohammad Saeed Wazir has been posted as Inspector General of Police of Gilgit-Baltistan on 25th March 2021.
Mohammad Saeed Wazir is currently the commandant of Balochistan Constabulary.
He hails from Wana town in South Waziristan and has served in Punjab, KP and Balochistan Police as well as the National Highways and Motorway Police.
Saeed Wazir remained part of the UN Peace Mission in Bosnia. On return, he was posted in Peshawar where he also served as SSP Operations.
Besides, he served as Regional Police Officer of Hazara, Malakand and Mardan as well as Commandant of the Elite Force and DIG Telecommunication in KP.

The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network has released the World Hapess Report 2021 and Pakistan has ranked 105 out of 149 countries in the list.
Finland has been ranked as the world’s happiest country for the fourth consecutive year followed by Iceland, Denmark, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany and Norway.
Pakistan has been ranked happier than India (139). Bangladesh is on 101st and China on 84th, according to the report.

The Sindh cabinet on Thursday Aug 20, 2020 approved to carve a new district in Keamari area by bifurcating Karachi’s District West, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s spokesperson. Keamari is the 30th district of Sindh.
The new district will comprise Site, Baldia, Harbour and Maripur sub-divisions, the spokesperson said.
He said population-wise city’s west district is the largest one in Sindh. It has a population of 3,914,757.
