The are three Barrages in Sindh:
1. Guddu Barrage
Guddu Barrage ( گڈو بیراج )is on the Indus River near Kashmore in the Sindh province of Pakistan. President Iskander Mirza laid the foundation-stone of Guddu Barrage on 2 February 1957. The barrage was completed in 1962 at a cost of 474.8 million rupees and inaugurated by Field Marshal Ayub Khan in 1962.
2. Kotri Barrage
Kotri Barrage (کوٹری بیراج) is on the Indus River between Jamshoro and Hyderabad in the Sindh province of Pakistan. it was completed in 1955.
3. Sukkur Barrage
Sukkur Barrage ( سکھر بیراج‬‎) is the Oldest barrage of Pakistan it is on River Indus near the city of Sukkur in the Sindh province of Pakistan. it was built during the British Raj from 1923 to 1932 and was named Lloyd Barrage.

Manchar lake is located west of the Indus River, it is now located in Jamshoro District, Sindh. before creation of Jamshoro District it was in Dadu District. Jamshoro district was split from Dadu District in December 2004. most of the outdated books are still referring it to Dadu District.
